One of the first Fuso Lux frames built in 1986. It has a metal head badge, and some aspects of the decal design borrowed from the original Fuso. However, the decals on the Lux were "burried" under 8 clearcoats and sanded smooth, before the final clearcoat.
The frame also had chrome right chainstay and dropout faces.

It is 969. Numbers are always read inwards from the outside edge of the bottom bracket. (See the note at the bottom of this site's home page.

A fine example of a 1st. Generation Fuso, one of the last with the metal headbadge. It even has the original color match pump that was painted with the frame.
This frame kept in great condition by the original owner Richard Closson.

This Fuso is built with Columbus Max tubing, an oversize and ovalized tubeset. It was built as a display model shown at the "Interbike" Show held in Las Vegas.
